"This is Private Property - Keep Out" It is unclear which path this sign refers to, the one to the left or the one to the right.

No Cycles, Skateboards, Rollerblades

No Cycling marking (barely visible)

No Cycling in the central park, Sfântu Gheorghe

Since the sign faced across the path, I wasn't sure whether the 'Cyclists Dismount' sign applied to cyclists heading onto the Levern Walkway, leaving it, or just to those attempting to read the information board.

Huntingdon High Street - Can anyone explain what this sign means and when considerate people on wheels are welcome?

[Image taken 27.5.23] Wigginton Road, York. Mixed messages. It’s important to keep people out but not important to keep people safe. Note the giant padlock and chain on the supports next to where the fencing ends. There’s lots of evidence … [more]

Shared use area, Riga

End of pedestrian/cycle zone, Riga

Rising bollards but no cycling in this park, it seems.

Shared use in the old town of Riga

A horizontal line means shared use, a vertical line means segregated routes in Poland - I think.

Definitely shared-use to the left - I'm not sure about the route to the right.

Ramped access and Cyclists Dismount sign

Notice about cycle tourism in the Břeclav area

Pedestrian/cycle zone in Břeclav, with plenty of cycle parking

According to Google Translate this means 'Outside of Vehicles with a driving license, there is a Břeclav and a cyclist' - which probably means something like No Entry except cyclists and vehicles with authorisation from Břeclav municipality … [more]

No Cycling in front of Oradea cathedral

I saw this sign at all the entrances to the traffic-free area of Tallinn "old town". "ALA" means "Area", and "VÄLJA ARVATUD ALLA 0,8m LAIUSED" means "Except for widths under 0.8m". So bicycles and normal tricycles are permitted, despite … [more]

Dazzling new cycleway in the centre of Sebeș - I imagine the Loading Permitted sign refers to the white box to the right, rather than on the cycleway.

Clear signs that the cut-through does not continue

Are people expected to read the smallprint before using this road?

No Entry for All Terrain Vehicles - a plague in Romania's hill resorts, and especially here in Bran and Zărnești.

No Entry for All Terrain Vehicles - a plague in Romania's hill resorts, and especially here in Bran and Măgura.

There's the vague shadow of a motorbike symbol on this sign - but the general advice is to not drive this way to Măgura. Fine for mountain bikes!

No Cycling - but it's not as bad as it seems, this is a private road in a holiday resort on a very steep hill, and this is about not letting kids on bikes, sleds, rollerblades etc get out of control.

Unsuitable for Motor Vehicles - it's also signed to the primary school, so presumably the first bit is alright. Then it leads to the Hathersage road (see #191875 ), but I stuck to the regular road.

Unsuitable for Motor Vehicles - the shorter but hillier road from Tideswell towards Miller's Dale

Share with Care stickers at Monkswell Lane, Tideswell

No Cycles - the corner really is ridiculously tight (but the other side of the road is fine)

Cyclists allowed but no pedestrians on the carriageway - is that legally enforceable?

There are railings there? How would you know? Let alone chain a bike to them.
