A temporary cyclable route through the works during the widening of the A14 bridge. It is really good to have this, but it has required quite a bit of lobbying.

Excellent signage at the Scottish Water work on the Kelvin Walkway Garriochmill Road access, where a short path has been laid to divert around the worksite.

In its own way, rather beautiful. A temporary four way crossing control point (because of road works happening nearby) with provision for those on bikes.
Shared-use pavement work going on. Diversion onto road now includes ramps for riders (it didn't yesterday!). And this means taking a road lane out to temporary traffic lights. Now, to get those awkward concrete blocks out of the diversion … [more]
Improved crossing for cyclists. A protected waiting area in the middle of the road lets cyclists cross the road faster and safer, especially during rush hours.
Tenison Road closure to through-traffic during works - perhaps this should be made permanent, given that people are coping for 3 months?

The iron work is still a little raised but Short Street is finally being resurfaced, with the setts removed too. Let's hope it lasts.

Major roadworks, Road Closed Except [for] Cycles - the designated cycle lane is a bit narrow, but there's no reason not to go to the right of the signs. (Also Boris Bikes to the left, of course)

A cycle lane created during these works on Hills Road which are necessary to re-site some services which lie under the road.
It's great that there's a northbound cycle lane on Hills Road while northbound vehicles have to go a long way around!
More of these signs at road works would be appreciated. This location currently has two sets of road works on either side of the road, so it is much narrower than it should be.
Narrow Lanes Do Not Overtake Cyclists - leaving aside the dodgy grammar, this is excellent advice - possibly influenced by practice in Cambridge.
