The Great Western Road cycle lane has very little protection remaining on some sections, and the illegal car parking further along is still a problem.

Little Fen Drove riddled with large potholes.

The Sighthill Bridge is reached by busy main roads with no cycle facilities, or alternatively an awkward route around the houses in Townhead. The toucan crossing across Baird Street was not working when I visited.

The Sighthill Bridge connects to busy roads with no cycle facilities, before reaching the city centre.

Foot and cycle path clearly needed here - about 1km would do.

Newmarket Road where the cycleway splits - a breakthrough at the time, but now considered discriminatory and exclusive as it requires quite a bit of confidence to hold a central road position while tailed by heavy traffic.

There's a bit of a scrappy route here from Ekin Road, across the verge, cycleway and Wadloes Road to the link between houses to Ditton Fields.

As in Târgu Mureș, motor traffic is prioritised and pedestrians have to wait a ridiculous time to cross.

Howard Close The cars are parked sticking out into the road, some in bays that appear to be designed for in-line parking.

The roads and the drainage have been improved, but a shared-use path would really help - Rupea and Homorod aren't far apart.

A shared-use path of less than a kilometre would provide a safe link between Homorod and Rupea

Covasna is a spa town - but the dropped kerbs on this crossing are pretty terrible.

Speed cushions and unrestricted parking don't mix well. The middle of the road is needed by bikes, and by oncoming vehicles straddling the other cushion.
