In Norfolk pretty minor defects are marked up for repair - in Cambridgeshire they just laugh when you report something like this.

Emergency repair to pothole at Cambridge station.

Dangerous pothole on narrow lane - Mended in August 2010! (to be fixed soon? Photo taken on 25 June 2010.) Mended badly, needs fixing again (April 2011) - contractors keeping themselves in business as council's looking on (no clue)...

Pothole on Queen's Road, reported to fillthathole.org.uk on 22 July, filled on 24 July. It works!

Excellent - the council ignored phone requests to fix this pothole, on Wednesday morning a photo was posted here and by Thursday night the hole had been filled.
