The South City Way cycleway finally complete past the Sheriff Court. However, the contraflow bus lane signs along this section are now out of date and need replaced.
A connection from the South City Way cycleway to Cleland Street. But parking in the contraflow cycle lane is still a problem.
Bedford Lane has been closed to motor vehicles, so the cycleway runs uninterrupted past the junction.

Salford has used a combination of easy chicanes and speed humps (on the north side) at this very low traffic junction.
Nice to see Salford not installing stupid barriers everywhere. The path is a little bumpy but perfectly usable on a road bike.
The path from the new bridge across the Black Cart Water continues for a short distance on this side of the A8 before crossing to the other side where it continues all the way to the edge of Bishopton.

There's a surprisingly good cycleway on the north side of the road (and pedestrian walkway on the south side, though I think the two get a bit confused) from here west to the main E79 road - about 2km.
