[Newer image: #178807.] [Image taken 11.1.22] Marygate car park, Frederic Street/Marygate Lane pedestrian entrance, York. [NOTE: No streetview at this location.] The works for which the compound and that lime-green two-storey prefab support were due to be completed in January 2022 (context see: #175873). An email from the Environment Agency said it will be February 2022. I took the images on a clear, bright day, to show from how far away the modular structure is visible. I find it intimidating, obtrusive, and it makes me feel as if the area and its users are under surveillance. Other images here today: #177537 and links.
