March 6, 1971: Bicyclists in Norman, Oklahoma, parked their bikes in about 100 metered downtown parking spaces for most of a Saturday. Most of the bike parkers were University of Oklahoma students. They parked one bike in each parking space, taking nearly the whole curb 1/3 t.co/GdaqtLkFPW

Ed: seems to be some cycle parking along this street nowadays.
